SBA50s SMOG Bonding Agent – Advanced Cementing Additive
Code: SBA50s
The SBA50s Bonding Agent is a high-performance cementing additive engineered to strengthen well integrity and optimize cement performance in oilfield and geothermal applications. Formulated as a water suspension of ultra-fine silica particles (average size 0.8 microns), SBA50s reduces cement permeability by chemically and physically blocking the slurry matrix. During hydration, it forms a silica gel that seals pore spaces, enhancing cement bonding, compressive strength, and long-term durability.
Superior Bonding Agent – Improves cement adhesion to both casing and formation for reliable zonal isolation.
Gas Migration Control – Effectively reduces annular gas migration, ensuring safer well operations.
Enhanced Strength Development – Boosts early and long-term compressive strength of set cement.
Thixotropy & Lost Circulation Control – Imparts thixotropy to slurries, helping control lost circulation and reduce free water.
Lightweight Cement Extender – Functions as an extender for lightweight cement and a strength enhancer for low-temperature lightweight slurry.
Broad Application Range – Suitable for wells with BHCT from 50°F to 500°F.
Fluid Loss Reduction – Interacts with fluid loss additives to minimize slurry water loss.
Salt Slurry Compatibility – Acts as an extender and low-temperature accelerator in saturated salt
Ideal for oil & gas well cementing, geothermal wells, and any cementing operations requiring improved bonding, reduced permeability, and enhanced compressive strength.

SMOG High Temperature Fluid Loss
Code: SFL20s
SFL20s is a high-performance fluid loss control additive designed for offshore cementing operations where logistics demand a minimal suite of additives. It enhances slurry stability and, at higher concentrations, provides an additional element of gas control.
SFL20s can be used as a standalone additive to design low-viscosity cement slurries with effective fluid loss control during primary cementing operations. It is fully compatible with dispersants, SRC500s retarder, and other cementing additives in the market.
In standard density slurries (~15.8 ppg), SFL20s ensures easy mixing and reliable fluid loss control across a wide temperature range, performing effectively in wells with bottomhole circulating temperatures (BHCT) up to 300°F (148°C).
